By Bus
After your arrival to Kaunas by bus, get out from Kaunas Bus Station and go to the stop of public transport system (Buses and Trolleybuses) (marked as "o" on the map). In order to go to Lithuanian Energy Institute you should take the bus or trolleybus on the other side of street (Vytauto pr.) passing Kaunas Bus station. To cross the street use the underground passage.

Stops will be Autobusų stotis-Geležinkelio stotis-Viadukas-Dainų slėnis-Breslaujos g.
Get out from the bus or trolleybus at the stop called Breslaujos g. You will see a building of the institute of architecture of Kaunas university of technology on the right side, go towards it, cross street "Brelaujos g." and go along this street about 100 meters. The building of Lithuanian energy institute will appear on the right side.
Kaunas Bus station is indicated in the following map as "A", Lithuanian Energy Institute is indicated as "LEI".
By train
After your arrival to Kaunas by train get out from Kaunas Train Station and go to the stop of public transport system (Buses and Trolleybuses) which is on the right side (marked as "o" on the map).

Stops will be Geležinkelio stotis - Viadukas - Dainų slėnis - Breslaujos g.

The building of Lithuanian energy institute will appear on the right side.

Ticket for one ride by bus or trolleybus cost: for adults - 0.90 Lt , for the students of Lithuanian universities - 0.45 Lt if you buy it in press kiosk.
Buying ticket for one ride from bus or trolleybus drivers fares are: for adults - 1.00 Lt , for the students of Lithuanian universities - 0.50 Lt.

By car
If you come to Kaunas from Vilnius direction recommended route in Kaunas city is as follows (see the map).
Drive a freeway and take exit "Centras", go along Savanorių pr. to the first crossroad with traffic-lights and turn to the left at this crossroad. Go straight and pass three circle crossroads (KrÄ—vÄ—s pr., Taikos pr., Chemijos g.). After reaching the fourth circle crossroad (6 fortas) take the second exit to the street BarÅausko g. Drive along this street, pass the petrol station STATOIL on the right side and at the crossroad with traffic-light turn to the left. Drive along street Breslaujos g. about 100 meters and on the right you will see the main building of Lithuanian Energy Institute (the red roof). There is a parking lot behind the institute front door.
By taxi (taksi)
Close to Kaunas Bus and Train Stations there are waiting taxi cabins. It is possible to call for taxi as well (http://visit.kaunas.lt/transp_operatoriai/transp_op?lang=en&tipoID:int=4). It will take app. 5-7 minutes to get to LEI and it could cost app.10-15 Lt (depends on day time).
From the Hostel
If you stay in the hostel of Kaunas university of technology (A. PurÄ—no g. 20, Kaunas) during the conference, the easiest way is to walk along PaÅilÄ—s street to the trolleybus stop and go one stop by trolleybus No. 5, 7, 14 or 15. After getting out of the trolleybus you will see a building of the institute of architecture of Kaunas university of technology on the right side, go towards it, cross street Breslaujos g. and go along this street about 100 meters. The building of Lithuanian Energy Institute will appear on the right side (the red roof). See pictures above also.
